Snackers crackers
(Makes 1 serving, ½
cup)
1 teaspoon (5ml) canola oil, dry
minced onion, garlic powder, onion
powder
2 teaspoons (10ml) dill
weed
1 teaspoon (5ml) dry parsley
flakes
2 teaspoons (20ml)
water
1/3 cup non-fat
yoghurt
1/3 cup fresh shredded Parmesan
cheese
5 cups oyster
crackers.
Method: Into
a big frying pan/skillet heat the oil on
medium to sauté onions and stir whole
cooking. Add
other spices and stir all the time; then
pour in the water and mix
well.
Blend in the yoghurt and add in the
oyster crackers and stir until they are
well covered.
Spoon mix into the cake tin and sprinkle
parmesan cheese over them. Bake at
275oF for up to 8 minutes.
Bake until parmesan is melted and then
cool the crackers before using them or
storing in a well-sealed
container.
